Our College Toolbar is in no way spyware or malware. It will not cause any type of pop-up ads or pop-under ads. The toolbar installation will not install any other programs on your machine. Our toolbar will not open up any known security holes in your machine or launch any viruses. Our toolbar will not disable any setting on your computer or turn off any security features.

Cookies
Almost all interactive websites and web utilities use Cookies to enable features and create personal settings. We do not use cookies to track the websites users visit or to track users interests. Our cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable the toolbar to recognize your browser, to enable features, and to allow users to create personal settings. If you have cookies disabled our toolbar will still offer you functionality but it will not be customizable.

Information Collection
In order to improve our toolbar we may collect certain non-personal information from you via the Toolbar. This information includes information about how users interact with the Toolbar, such as search queries and use of Toolbar functionality, such as clicks on specific Toolbar buttons. We also collect the normal type of information that is already available to the Web sites users visit, such as users operating system and IP address. None of this data contains personally identifiable information; it merely allow us to improve the Toolbar and our search functions to better serve you.
